Whale Watching Express (09:00/3 hours) (T02)

This excursion swiftly transports you and your party to the whale watching area off the coast of Reykjavík in just 20–30 minutes aboard a fast and luxurious boat. The boat is comfortable with fantastic interiors and a spacious deck from which you can observe whales safely.

The crew and guide will point out where to spot the whales and provide information about the various types of whales and birds you may encounter. The entire excursion is conducted with a focus on respecting and protecting wildlife – we let the whales come to us instead of the other way around. The whales you may have the opportunity to see include mainly Minke whales, White-beaked dolphins, Harbour porpoises, and Humpback whales.

Wi-Fi, café, and restroom facilities are available on board. During winter, the boat may depart from a different harbor to increase the likelihood of whale sightings, with transportation arranged for all passengers.

Dress appropriately for Icelandic weather conditions, which can be changeable and harsh: don't forget hats and gloves! Good shoes that keep you dry and warm are recommended; however, warm overalls are provided. Bring along your camera.
