Northern Lights Boat Tour (20:00/3 hours) (T03)

This excursion takes you and your companions from Reykjavik out on a hunt for the Northern Lights by boat. Chasing the aurora from the North Atlantic is a special experience with the darkness, the sea, the beautiful mountains, and the glowing city in the background.

Within 15–20 minutes, we reach the optimal location for the aurora hunt, far enough away from the city lights. The guide will talk about the science behind the Northern Lights and share stories and myths from around the world about this phenomenon. During the excursion, a Northern Lights video will be shown, featuring interesting facts and folklore about the aurora. If you get cold, rest assured you can always grab a drink at the bar and cozy up in front of the movie or simply gaze out at the city lights.

Wi-Fi, café, bar, toilet, and souvenir shop are available on the boat. The crew will take photos so you don't have to worry about adjusting your camera. Email and request the photos afterward!
